2 – Deadvlei (Namibia)

A white clay pan, its name means “dead valley”, it has been claimed to be surrounded by the highest sand dunes in the world. The remaining skeletons of the trees, which are believed to have died 600 to 700 years ago- as there no longer was enough water to survive-, are now black because of the intense sun has scorched them.

3 – Socotra (Yemen)

Reed flutes cave is a landmark and tourist attraction in China. It’s filled with a large number of stalactites, stalagmites and other rock formations. A multicolored lighting artificially illuminates the cave, making it “the palace of natural arts”.
